Here is where you will find a compilation of frequently asked questions from our student community and their families. Should you have questions that are not addressed here, feel free to get in touch.
Do we need to provide our own sewing machine?
Sewing Castle provides each student with a sewing machine, scissors, pins, and other necessary sewing items during class time.
May I stay with my child during class?
Our sewing area is on the tiny side and can only fit 6 students comfortably with no extra room for visitors. If you feel strongly about staying with our child, you are welcome to sign up for the class and participate in the lessons along side your child.
What is your safely protocol?
We ask parents to accompany their child to and from the Sewing Castle door where the will be expected to sign in and out. Sewing Castle is NOT responsible for a student outside of the classroom.
We will adhere to State mandates as they are presented and update as needed.
What is the procedure for student drop off & pick-up?
Drop off time is no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled class. We do not have a waiting area other than your vehicle.
Pick up time needs to be promptly at the designated end of class time. Another class will be starting immediately.
What about inclement weather?
We are located in Hermon and will therefore follow the Hermon School Districts lead. We will post changes/cancellations on our website and Facebook page.
What is your withdrawal policy?
We request notification as soon as possible before a class/event begins. We do not refund after an event/class has already begun.
What is the procedure for student drop off & pick-up?
